Garlin and Trevor were raised in the industrial supply industry, learning the business alongside their father, Gary Thompson Jr., and their grandfather, Gary Thompson Sr., founder of Thompson Industrial Supply. From a young age, they spent countless hours in the warehouse, behind the counter, and out in the field, gaining hands-on experience that simply can't be taught in a classroom.
Their grandfather, Gary Thompson Sr., instilled in them the values of hard work, discipline, honesty, and always doing what is right for the customer—no matter the cost. Working side by side with both their father and grandfather, they learned how to accurately measure and identify industrial parts, solve complex application challenges, and provide the level of customer service that builds lifelong relationships.
